I'm the founder of FutureWork IQ where I spend my time assisting businesses to improve their climate literacy so as to understand the projected impacts from the expanding climate crisis and how to adapt their workplaces in the face of these impacts.

As the existential threat of climate change sinks in, which is beginning to happen in many parts of the world, governments will not hesitate to enact covid-like lockdown measures to radically reduce emissions to avert a global catastrophe.

It would be prudent for any business to plan for a world where decarbonization is legislated. (Eg. see moves in California to mandate remote work to reduce daily commute carbon emissions)

De-coupling your business from the need to burn fossil fuels to generate an income is likely the smartest move any business can make this decade.

How far are you down this path?
