I recently had a fascinating discussion with someone who is working for a company that encourages its employees to build their personal brands, clearly understanding that they are actually, at the same time, building the company’s brand. (This is especially true if it’s a loyal employee.) I call this enlightened 21st Century Business

As a side note – building your personal brand is very important if you don’t own equity in the business. Here is why:
