I'm the founder of FutureWork IQ where I spend my time assisting businesses to design digital workplaces or “offices in the cloud.” These environments enable companies to allow flexible and remote working for their teams. I also teach the digital literacy, fluency, communication and collaboration skills needed to work in these modern technology-rich workplaces.

no traffic

This does seem to be stating the obvious but it does bear repeating:

“If more of us were free to work from home, fewer of us would be stuck in traffic.”

It really is not smart to continue down a path when we have much better ways of doing things! Why aren’t we getting cars off the road with remote working arrangements?

There is plenty of proof that remote work works, just take a look at all the fully distributed companies. The technology to design a well functioning digital workplace is there. All the research points to individuals wanting to work remotely.

What is holding us back from working smarter?
