France leads the way with information literacy

This recent piece in the NYT is worth highlighting In France, School Lessons Ask: Which Twitter Post Should You Trust?

This is a great move by France and should really be copied everywhere. Digital Literacy – a necessity in 2019 and beyond, is comprised of 6 competencies and this example speaks to the need for everyone not just young people to develop Information Literacy and to an extent Media Literacy. These are going to be super important skills to have going forward. Well done France on attempting to close the skills gap!
