I'm the founder of FutureWork IQ where I spend my time assisting businesses to design digital workplaces or “offices in the cloud.” These environments enable companies to allow flexible and remote working for their teams. I also teach the digital literacy, fluency, communication and collaboration skills needed to work in these modern technology-rich workplaces.

The world over leadership teams are talking about creating hybrid workplaces – that is, allowing people to work remotely and in the office.

These environments are incredibly hard to manage because you end up with two conflicting workflows.

Listen in as GitLab’s CEO, who manages the worlds largest fully remote company, explains why most of these hybrid arrangements will fail.

I agree with his sentiments completely.
