I'm the founder of FutureWork IQ where I spend my time assisting businesses to improve their climate literacy so as to understand the projected impacts from the expanding climate crisis and how to adapt their workplaces in the face of these impacts.

Take a look at the comment below which was made in response to the reporting on the Boston Consulting research which indicated South African workers prefer working from home.

Notice the last sentence “Hell if I had a job which allowed me to work remotely I’d take it.”

Here is the reality. If a leadership team does the necessary work to make flexible and remote working their default way of working, they will become the talent attractors.

Many people will leave their current employment if given the opportunity to work for a company that allows this flexibility.

Top talent will go where they are given the most flexibility.
