I'm the founder of FutureWork IQ where I spend my time assisting businesses to improve their climate literacy so as to understand the projected impacts from the expanding climate crisis and how to adapt their workplaces in the face of these impacts.

Here is the image:

We have to reduce global fossil fuel emissions by 19Gt in the next 7 years.

This is a massive task, and just how massive it is, can be seen by looking at the small 5.2% dip the COVID pandemic caused.

We are going to need every government, every province/state, every business, every community, every family, every individual to play their part.

In order for everyone to play their part we are going to need to, as a matter of urgency, improve EVERYONE’S climate literacy.

In other words, EVERYONE needs to understand why we need to do this, what is at stake if we don’t, what the highest leverage actions are we can take and what our individual roles are.

Once this is in place we can get to work!

Do we have what it takes?
