There is one rule when it comes to these hybrid meetings that you simply must live by:
đźš©If ONE person has to join the meeting via a video call EVERYONE should join the meeting on a video call, even if they are all in the same building.
So don’t let the co-located team all be in the boardroom and one or two people on a screen. This does not make for an equal meeting experience. The individual/s on screen will need to put in A LOT of extra effort to read the room, taking away from their ability to contribute to the meeting.
So if one person is on a screen, everyone should be on a screen.
