I'm the founder of FutureWork IQ where I spend my time assisting businesses to improve their climate literacy so as to understand the projected impacts from the expanding climate crisis and how to adapt their workplaces in the face of these impacts.

The enormity of the urgent task ahead of us, namely the reversal of the pictured trajectory, is going to require the largest redesign of our way of doing business every experienced.

Climate Visuals

Just look around you, pretend you are wearing a pair of GHG Glasses and will understand the sheer magnitude of everything that needs to change.

We cannot keep working the way we do
We cannot keep commuting the way we do
We cannot keep meeting the way we do
We cannot keep using buildings the way we do

At least not until we have electrified everything using clean renewable energy.

For this task, every single business will need to embed climate literacy into every decision making process.

This means every team member must improve their climate literacy — a climate literate person is defined as:

A person who understands the essential principles of Earth’s climate system, knows how to assess scientifically credible information about climate, communicates about climate and climate change in a meaningful way, and is able to make informed and responsible decisions with regard to actions that may affect climate.

What is your teams level of climate literacy?
