I'm the founder of FutureWork IQ where I spend my time assisting businesses to improve their climate literacy so as to understand the projected impacts from the expanding climate crisis and how to adapt their workplaces in the face of these impacts.

I have been a great admirer of Dr Sinan Aral’s work.

This is a short clip where he speaks about his field of expertise.

Here is another where he speaks on the power of social influence.

In April he gave a lecture entitled: Peer Effects, Social Influence and Population Scale Behaviour

The evidence is clear online social networks have a dramatic impact on behaviour.
(See this piece entitled Social Media as a Formidable Force for Change)

In my case recent examples of behavioral change would include things like never going to a cub petting facility because of the Bloodlions campaign (which continues to effect change around the world) Or not supporting facilities that offer elephant rides and interaction or avoiding palm oil at all costs.

How about you? How has being connected to online social networks changed your behaviour? Share some examples.
