The way we work has now changed forever

As it should.

After we adapt to living with Covid-19 there is another looming crisis we have to turn our attention to: Getting a handle on the climate crisis by reducing our emissions by 7.6% every year for the next decade.

Commuting less with fossil fuel powered transport will form a integral part of that strategy. We now know that knowledge workers do not need to commute to an office to get their work done and we can therefore seriously look at limiting the daily commute of knowledge workers, effectively slashing tailpipe emissions from millions of motor vehicles.

Remote work should be the new normal.
