Using the post Covid-19 momentum to address the next global crisis

France is one of the first countries to begin legislating how things should be when the economy opens up again. There are conditions attached to the €7bn Air France/KLM bailout€7bn Air France/KLM bailout.

There will be ban on short-haul domestic air travel which apply to routes where trains offer a journey time of 2h30min or less. This means Air France will no longer be able to sell tickets for domestic travel on flights between Paris and Bordeaux, Lyon, Nantes or Rennes.
