I'm the founder of FutureWork IQ where I spend my time assisting businesses to improve their climate literacy so as to understand the projected impacts from the expanding climate crisis and how to adapt their workplaces in the face of these impacts.

If you want a sustainable #remotwork situation for your team there are *several* building blocks that *must* be in place.

One is team Digital Literacy (& Fluency)

Digital Literacy (not to be confused with Computer Literacy) we define as follows:

“Digital literacy refers to an individual’s ability to find, evaluate, and compose clear information through writing and other media on various digital platforms. Digital literacy is evaluated by an individual’s grammar, composition, typing skills and ability to produce text, images, audio and designs using technology.”

How competent is an individual at using ALL the digital communication channels available to them to:

1) Share their ideas as flawlessly as in-person
2) Create digital intimacy to ensure team cohesion?

Without these skills a sustainable remote work workplace is not possible.

What do you rate your teams Digital Literacy at on a scale of 1 – 10?
