We are entering into unchartered territory

Peter du ToitI'm the founder of FutureWork IQ where I spend my time assisting businesses to design digital workplaces or “offices in the cloud.” These environments enable companies to allow flexible and remote working for their teams. I also teach the digital literacy, fluency, communication and collaboration skills needed to work in these modern technology-rich workplaces.

The physical environment is going to become increasingly unstable. As it now seems certain we are on pathway to 2.5°C of global warming, extreme weather events will increase in frequency as is illustrated here. 

Here is what we can say with certainty:

1) The more flexible your business, the less disrupted you will be. 
2)The less reliant you are on mobility to get work done, the less disrupted you will be.
3) Location independence will become a strategic advantage.
