I'm the founder of FutureWork IQ where I spend my time assisting businesses to design digital workplaces or “offices in the cloud.” These environments enable companies to allow flexible and remote working for their teams. I also teach the digital literacy, fluency, communication and collaboration skills needed to work in these modern technology-rich workplaces.

Back in 2011 Atos CEO Thierry Breton made headlines when he announced that Atos would become a zero internal email company over the next three years.

Today about 80,000 of its employees don’t use email to communicate internally. Instead they use something now know as an Enterprise Social Network (ESN)

These are way more efficient when it comes to team communication & collaboration!

Looking back on our years of internal communication, we first used Yammer, (which was such a great ESN! Microsoft acquired them in 2012) then Salesforce Chatter, and today Facebook Workplace.

If you have a team that you work with, how do you communicate internally?
