What does this have to do with business?

Peter du ToitI'm the founder of FutureWork IQ where I spend my time assisting businesses to improve their climate literacy so as to understand the projected impacts from the expanding climate crisis and how to adapt their workplaces in the face of these impacts.

What does this have to do with business?

Everything.

If we do not radically reduce the amount of CO2 and other greenhouse gasses spewing into the atmosphere because of how we work and live at the moment, we will witness catastrophic disruption that will make our covid experience seem mild.

We have to use EVERY measure at our disposal to decouple our businesses and careers from the need to burn fossil fuels.

The science has been crystal clear on this for decades.

Here is the advice I give every leadership team on steps to take immediately:

👩🏻‍🎓Become Carbon Literate
🗳️Vote climate deniers out of office
🌱Switch to a plant-based diet
🚘Drive less (switch to EV if you can)
☀️Switch to renewable energy
✈️Fly less (the worst transport choice)
