Why remote companies are more efficient than in-office companies

The hallmark of a highly effective, productive and innovative remote company is that they are INTENTIONAL about EVERYTHING

– Culture
– Daily communication & collaboration
– Documentation
– Meetings
– Social interactions

Basically nothing is left to chance. As a result of this deliberate attention to detail their teams are highly effective.

Intentionality at this level is extremely rare in brick-n-mortar offices. Usually so much is left to chance and there is almost never a deliberate effort to preserve institutional knowledge. So much is left to word of mouth. Office communication can’t scale.

Any business that wants to migrate effectively from in-office to work-from-anywhere will have to learn the skill of being intentional with everything they do.
